Dr. Kora has helped lead the county through the difficult times related to the Covid-19 pandemic and has used his health care experience to guide our decision-making.

As a public servant, Dr. Kora has assisted in building a culture of respect, civility and transparent public discourse across county government. An experienced business leader, Dr. Kora has applied common sense and fiscal responsibility to projects such as the Michigan City Courthouse Renovation Project where cost control was in order; he fought hard for our taxpayers to oppose utility rate increases in the middle of the pandemic.
